We Have an Update on Jennifer Aydin and Dolores Catania’s Friendship
After beefing on Season 13, Dolores and Jennifer revealed where things stand when they reunited to support a good cause.
It looks like everything’s now coming up roses for Garden State residents Dolores Catania and Jennifer Aydin.
As fans may remember, The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast members began beefing on the Season 12 reunion. During the three-part special, Jennifer accused Dolores of not supporting her after Margaret Josephs brought up rumors about her marriage to Dr. Bill Aydin.
Their drama has continued on Season 13, and the once-close friends hurled insults at each other during Dolores’ sexy calendar photo shoot for the RHONJ husbands and at Danielle Cabral’s mozzarella-making event.
Fans will have to keep watching to find out what exactly happens between the friends-turned-frenemies, but Dolores has revealed that the two did ultimately make amends.
During her February 7 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Dolores confirmed that Jennifer “apologized” to her for calling her an “old f--king handbag” at the photo shoot.
“We came back from it,” she added about the situation when she went on Housewives Nightcap.
The Jersey girls certainly did come back from it, and they reunited for a good cause.
On February 15, Jennifer, Dolores, and their respective partners, Bill and Paul “Paulie” Connell, attended a fundraiser event for the Turkey-Syria earthquake in Dolores’ hometown of Paterson, New Jersey.
Jennifer and Bill, whose families are Turkish, spoke at the relief event. During her speech, Jennifer referred to Dolores as a “dear friend” and said that her presence at the fundraiser was “monumental.”
Jennifer and Dolores each shared several Instagram Stories from the earthquake relief effort event, and they both posted photos together on their main feeds.
In an Instagram comment, Dolores noted that it was important to “put all things aside to help the people affected by this horrible tragedy.”
