Larsa Says There’s “More” to the Story from Her RHOM Fight with Lisa — and It Involves Lenny
Lisa and Larsa are longtime besties, so why did their argument turn so serious on RHOM Season 5? Find out what Larsa had to say.
There's been no shortage of jaw-dropping moments so far on Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Miami — from Lenny Hochstein's hot mic moment to Adriana De Moura revealing her plans to get a BBL — and fans were more than surprised to see two longtime besties getting into a major argument on the premiere.
Larsa Pippen and Lisa Hochstein started out the season on less than solid ground after the latter cast member shared a rumor she had seen online about the kind of residents who live in Larsa's new apartment building. The disagreement continued when Larsa questioned whether Lisa and Lenny had a mortgage on their Star Island home.
On the December 12 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the pals discussed their early-season fight, and how there were other factors at play at the time.
"She did apologize many times. I should have just accepted that..." Lisa said about why the mortgage comment felt personal. "I did feel like she was attacking me with that. That's why I got angry."
Though Lisa and Larsa didn't start out the season on the best of terms, host Andy Cohen pointed out that Larsa has been a "constant" friend for Lisa since she separated from Lenny.
"I feel like a lot of the stuff that was happening with Lisa and I really had a lot to with Lenny," Larsa responded. "Like, I think it had a lot to do with him."
"I've known Lisa forever, and I feel like the way she was acting about the whole thing when we were having our situation, that's not who she is," Larsa continued about how the problems in Lisa's marriage could have played a role in their own argument at the time. "She's not like, confrontational. She doesn't really argue. I knew there was more to the story."
Larsa also revealed that she had her own off-camera conflict with Lenny, which led to some awkwardness between her and Lisa. It's also the reason why, she said, she was offended when Lisa repeated the rumor about her apartment complex.
"I had issues with Lenny before, and I felt like Lisa wasn't there to have a conversation with me," Larsa concluded. "I had words with Lenny that were off-camera, and I felt like Lisa never really addressed the issue I had with Lenny."
The pair may have started out Season 5 with a big miscommunication, but there's no denying that they are now the best of friends again.
