Shannon Storms Beador Reveals Her Daughter Sophie and Boyfriend Reese Are Talking Marriage
The Real Housewives of Orange County mom opened up about her eldest daughter’s love life.
Is Shannon Storms Beador’s daughter Sophie Beador readying for the next step in her relationship with her boyfriend, Reese?
On the Season 17 premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County (which you can preview in the clip above), Shannon hinted about her eldest daughter potentially walking down the aisle soon. Shannon shared the news with Emily Simpson while the two walked their dogs.
Shannon Shares an Update on Sophie’s Love Life
“So how are your girls?” Emily asked Shannon.
“They’re good. The twins are going to Paris with their dad,” Shannon said about her youngest kids, Stella and Adeline. She went on to share that Sophie and Reese will return to Texas soon to finish school. At this point, an adorable picture of Sophie and her boyfriend appeared on the screen.
Shortly after, Emily asked Shannon how long Sophie has been in the relationship, to which she replied, “A little over a year, which isn’t that long.” Shannon went on to reveal that the young lovebirds have been planning their future together despite dating for a short time.
“They do talk about marriage, but they’re at a school where that happens,” she explained about Sophie’s school, Baylor University. Emily agreed with the latter part of Shannon’s comment by saying, “It’s a religious school, right?”
“Yeah,” Shannon responded before Emily added, “They get engaged young too, and get married young.” She continued, “It’s that whole premarital sex thing.”
As for Shannon’s thoughts on celibacy? Well, she had a few concerns, which she discussed in her confessional. “No sex before marriage — I mean, you got to test the equipment,” she said. “Does it fit? Does it work? You got to know what you’re diving into for the rest of your life.”
Shannon Gives an Update on Her Twins, Stella and Adeline
Sophie isn’t the only one who’s gearing up for the next phase in life. Her sisters Stella and Adeline will soon leave the nest to start their college journeys. Last month, Shannon revealed where the 18-year-old high school students will be heading in the fall.
Taking to Instagram on May 16, the RHOC mom posted a photo of the twins standing together with huge smiles while sporting their schools’ merch. Stella wore a USC T-shirt, and Adeline wore a black sweatshirt from Parsons School of Design.
“It’s official! Stella will be part of the USC Trojan Transfer and spend her first year in Paris,” Shannon captioned the photo. “[Adeline] will be attending Parsons School of Design in Manhattan! Beyond proud of my girls!”
