Emily Simpson Reveals the Best Gift She Ever Got From Husband Shane
The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member also opens up about her relationship with hubby Shane Simpson on WWHL.
It's been over a decade since The Real Housewives of Orange County's Emily Simpson and her husband Shane Simpson tied the knot after her hubby asked for her hand in marriage with an unforgettable G-Chat proposal. Since then, the RHOC couple has been open about challenges they've faced in their marriage, but recently showed how strong of a bond they actually share together.
When Emily appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on January 12, alongside The Real Housewives of Miami's Adriana de Moura as well as Shane, who was the guest bartender in the Clubhouse, she revealed just how much she was in tune with her hubby.
After Andy Cohen noted that Emily and Shane just “might be the healthiest and well-adjusted couple on Earth,” the WWHL host introduced a game (clip above) to see how much the two were in sync. Adriana assisted by asking the pair a series of questions to see if the answers they wrote down matched up.
One of the first questions pulled no punches, asking the couple which RHOC Housewife would Shane select if he was given a "hall pass" to choose. Emily jotted down her answer, revealing it as RHOC bestie Gina Kirschenheiter, while Shane simply responded with a question mark, saying his answer “stays in the vault.”
Another question inquired about the best anniversary gift Emily has ever received from Shane. After the couple both jotted down their answers, Shane revealed that “bags” were the best gift—clarifying that he meant bags of the luxury handbag variety—while Emily answered that, in fact, tickets to see Britney Spears in Las Vegas was the best gift she got from her hubby. “The Britney tickets seem good,” responded Andy.

In addition to sharing Shane’s incredible anniversary gift, Emily also opened up about Shane's role as a husband during a game of “Feel the Lush” while in the Clubhouse. When asked to reveal how Shane could improve as a husband, Emily had this to say: “He really has improved so I don’t feel like there’s a lot of room for improvement. He’s really stepped up his game and he’s amazing.”
Emily also spilled the tea on one surprising way Gina could improve as a friend during her WWHL appearance, along with which RHOC alum she missed the least, in the clip, below.
