Todd Tucker Shares How He and Kandi Burruss Come Up with New Businesses
The RHOA husband is opening up about his idea for a new business venture.
Todd Tucker is sharing a peek into how he and Kandi Burruss come up with new business ventures. The Real Housewives of Atlanta husband took to Instagram to open up about his latest business idea.
In a brief clip posted to Instagram on May 26, Todd can be seen sharing a closer look at his beard while lying in bed and discussing a potential new company centered around facial hair. “I want a new company. I think I want to come out with my own beard dye,” he says to Kandi, who remains offscreen.
In the caption of the post, Todd went on to reveal how these casual brainstorming sessions can lead to real business ideas. “You want to see how we come up with businesses? Lol, this is exactly how it happens,” he wrote in the caption.
Back in March, Kandi opened up about how she and Todd balance each other out as business partners. “I think one thing that people get to know about me is that I can be a little too soft on people that work with me. I think people [are] like, ‘Oh, Kandi’s a businesswoman, she’s this, she’s that.’ Which, I am a businesswoman, but I feel like sometimes I’m very compassionate. I have a lot of compassion for the people that work for me,” Kandi told The Daily Dish of teaming up with her husband on their Old Lady Gang restaurant, as recently chronicled on Kandi & the Gang. “I can give too many chances. Whereas Todd is no-nonsense.”
Earlier this month, Kandi also revealed that she and Todd are taking on another exciting new project, this time on Broadway. “It is a blessing and an honor for [Todd] and I to join the producing team of August Wilson’s The Piano Lesson,” Kandi wrote in the caption of her May 3 post announcing the upcoming play, which stars Samuel L. Jackson, John David Washington, and Danielle Brooks. “It’s a dream come true to work with this amazing all-star team [and] cast as we continue to push to diversify the Broadway audience.”
