Sanya Richards-Ross Opens Up About the “Long Journey” with Husband Aaron About Having More Children
The RHOA cast member offered updates on her marriage and her son.
As Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta wrapped with the season finale this past Sunday, fans learned that Sanya Richards-Ross had made a huge decision about expanding her family with her husband, Aaron Ross. During the September 4 episode of RHOA, it was revealed that “Sanya removed her IUD. She and Ross are actively trying for baby number deuce.”
The decision came after she and her husband went back and forth over the course of the season about having more kids. Sanya speaks more about what’s next for her family in The Real Housewives of Atlanta After Show clip above, noting that it has been a “long journey” in her relationship to get to this point.
Whatever the future holds for Sanya and Aaron, they are, of course, the proud parents of a son who keeps them busy. Sanya spoke with The Daily Dish earlier this year and opened up more about their son, Aaron, and whether he’s following in his parents’ footsteps.
“Oh my god, this kid thinks he’s Sonic. He really is, like, you know, [into] Pele [and] soccer. He is absolutely into sports and loves to run,” she said. “We’re both like, OK, maybe he should play soccer ’cause that’s kind of a good mix of football and track.”
She noted that she’s supportive of her son no matter what sport he decides to play. “I would love to see him do track or play soccer or something like that,” she said. “Or whatever else his little heart desires.”
