Stacey Abrams applauded the Atlanta Housewives for all of their work with the Black Lives Matter movement and other social justice issues during the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Show on September 30.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Peacock and the Bravo App.

Abrams, who served in the Georgia House of Representatives for 11 years before running for governor of the state in 2018, praised everything The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast is doing in the fight for racial equality during her appearance on the late night talk show with fellow guest Ilana Glazer. "As Ilana said, this is a moment of racial justice, and it's a moment where we have to acknowledge injustice and every voice matters," Abrams said in the above clip. "I'm so proud of the fact that these women are putting, not just their celebrity, but their activism into helping create change that we all need to see."

Abrams even has a connection with one of the Atlanta Housewives. She hosted a fundraiser for her 2018 gubernatorial campaign at Kandi Burruss' restaurant, Old Lady Gang. "Kandi was incredibly kind and gracious, welcomed us in," Abrams said of the event on WWHL. "And her food is divine."

These days, Abrams is focusing on her work as an advocate for voting, which inspired the Real Housewives tagline she revealed on WWHL, which Andy Cohen called "awesome."

RHOA's Porsha Williams, Cynthia Bailey, and Marlo Hampton, along with Andy and several other Bravolebs are also encouraging everyone to Plan Your Vote today.
