Yes, There's Still Drama Between Ramona Singer and Dorinda Medley Over John Mahdessian
Has Dorinda's beau come between these longtime #RHONY pals?
For the past two seasons of The Real Housewives of New York City, you could tell that tension was brewing between Dorinda Medley and Ramona Singer over Dorinda's boyfriend John Mahdessian. That tension erupted into a screaming match at an event hosted by John during Wednesday night's episode of RHONY, just like Champagne spilling out of a popped bottle.
Things got heated when Ramona defended an inebriated guest named Rey who John asked to leave after making his former fling Luann de Lesseps and other attendees uncomfortable. Once John dismissively put his hand in Ramona's face, things got heated between the two of them and Dorinda, who was upset with both her longtime friend for not sticking up for Luann and the way she treated John and with John for the way he behaved toward Ramona.
Ramona and Dorinda left the party in a huff, and it looked like it was going to take some major effort to get their friendship back on track. If their latest Twitter exchange is any indication, that seems to still be a work in progress.
Though Ramona agreed that Rey was making people feel uncomfortable at the event, she still thought John's behavior toward her was unacceptable.
Dorinda defended John's decision to ask Rey to leave the party.
And she called out Ramona for being disrespectful to John and the event's other host, fashion designer Malan Breton.
Dorinda said she didn't invite Ramona to John's event during the episode and accused her of having ulterior motives for attending on Twitter, all of which Ramona refuted.
Needless to say, revisiting this showdown wasn't easy for Ramona or Dorinda, which seems to be the only thing they were able to agree on.
It looks like Dorinda and Ramona's argument will have Dorinda getting all existential in next Wednesday night's episode of RHONY. Sneak a peek at the fallout, below.
