Ramona Singer Addresses Her "Nobody" Shade to Kristen Taekman and Cindy Barshop
Here's how The Real Housewives of New York City alums responded to the OG's comments.
Ramona Singer recently threw some playful shade at a couple of Real Housewives of New York City alums.
While living with her mom in self-quarantine in Florida, Avery Singer decided to try out the “Which ‘RHONY’ are you?” Instagram Story filter earlier this month. When Avery showed her mom that she first got Kristen Taekman and then Cindy Barshop as her results, Ramona called them both "nobody."
However, Ramona clarified that she has nothing but love for Cindy, who appeared in Season 4, and Kristen, who appeared in Seasons 6 and 7, in the May 21 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen: @ Home. "That was just kind of being funny and playful with my daughter, and then Page Six picked it up," Ramona explained. "I actually called back Page Six for once, and I said, 'Listen, I respect them both tremendously.'"
Indeed, Ramona told Page Six, “I was trying to be playful and funny. They’re both my friends and I support them in all their endeavors. I was just joking. Maybe my delivery was bad!”
On WWHL: @ Home, Andy Cohen asked Ramona if she had reached out to Kristen and Cindy since making the remark. "No, I did text them. I think I texted them. I don't know," she said. "I've been very busy isolating."
Kristen responded to Ramona's video in a comment to Page Six. “Why don’t you learn to take Luann [de Lesseps'] advice and ‘Be cool, don’t be all uncool!'” she said.
Cindy also tweeted, "Nobody? Everyone keeps on talking about me."
The two even reunited to give a cheeky shout-out to Ramona.
Oh, and in case you were wondering, yes, Ramona did try out the Instagram filter on herself. “Who am I? I don’t want to be Jill Zarin, that’s for sure,” Ramona said in the video before ultimately getting Carole Radziwill. “Oh, Carole! I love Carole! I could get Carole Radziwill. I love Carole Radziwill! Yay! Yay!”
