The 'RHOA' husband defends himself against cheating allegations
Dirt? According to Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey’s husband Peter, there is none to be found when it comes to his marriage.
There has been a lot of back and forth when it comes to cheating allegations this season (Chocolate, anyone?), and it was Cynthia and Peter who became the subject of discussion last week between Phaedra and Porsha.
Both women claimed to have knowledge of some sort of misgivings, hinting towards infidelity. Peter, for one, did not take kindly to the insinuation, and took to his Twitter to display his displeasure.
”The sh*** these women makeup to deflect WTF is happening in their lives is funny as hell,” he tweeted as the episode in question aired. ”My marriage is solid. Can’t say the same for them.” Both Phaedra and Porsha are without husbands—Phaedra’s husband Apollo currently incarcerated and their marriage woes have been well documented, and Porsha’s divorce to Kordell Stewart was finalized in 2013.
As far as Cynthia is concerned, the scene was far from a shocker. “At this point I am never surprised to see these two ladies gossiping and speaking negatively about me,” she wrote in her blog. “Lately I seem to be their favorite topic of conversation.”
And of course Peter had to have the last laugh, paying tribute to the now infamous moniker from this season, posting a selfie on Instagram claiming to be “THE REAL MR Chocolate." Touché.
