You Have Literally Never Seen Padma Lakshmi Like This Before
The Bravo's Top Chef host shared a never-before-seen jaw-dropping photo from high school.
We’re used to seeing Padma Lakshmi as a glamorous host on Bravo’s Top Chef — so we’re pretty sure we have never seen her like this before.
The foodie shared a throwback that made our jaws drop on Instagram on January 22. The photo dates back to 1987, and the model and author is unrecognizable in a full mascot uniform. She posted the photo next to a funny video of a less-than-enthusiastic basketball mascot that featured the caption, “One time I was my college’s mascot for a basketball game. Emphasis on one time.”
Padma could commiserate: “I feel you, girl,” she wrote, before sharing the photo of her representing the Workman High School “Lobos” circa 1987.
