Padma Lakshmi Sizzles in a Black-and-Red Dress with Semi-Sheer Paneling (PHOTO)
The Top Chef host’s dress for a recent event featured long sleeves and some skin-baring details.
When it comes to rocking a head-turning red carpet look, Bravo’s Top Chef’s Padma Lakshmi has always hit it out of the park.
Back in April, Padma had a stunning fashion moment at the Time 100 Gala, wearing a strapless periwinkle organza ball gown by Marchesa ($5,995) and pairing the jaw-dropping dress with strappy silver heels by Gianvito Rossi ($950) for the star-studded affair.
“Honestly? One of the best nights of my life!!” Padma captioned an Instagram post of several photos that showcased the dress, which featured a beautiful cascading textured skirt and floral-detailed sweetheart neckline. “I met so many people I admire and got seated at the most fun table — it was an embarrassment of female riches.”
More recently the New York mom again took to Instagram to show off another stunning style she wore for a special occasion. This time, the statement-making piece featured more of a sexy edge.
Padma Lakshmi’s Semi-Sheer Panel Dress
On June 22, Padma attended the Global Citizen concert “Power Our Planet” in Paris to “call attention to our urgent climate crisis,” as Padma explained in an Instagram caption alongside of a series of photos from the event.
For the occasion, Padma wore a black-and-red gown that featured a high neck, long sleeves, and an allover damask-like print. The dress also had sheer black paneling on her arms, around her midriff, and around her hips and legs, giving a sexy touch to the gorgeous gown.
Padma kept the dress front and center by keeping her glam simple, with a low ponytail and soft pink makeup to round out the look.

We last caught up with Padma when she stopped us in our scrolling tracks with some smoldering swimsuit looks for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
For her spicy cover photo look, the cookbook author posed in a barely-there bikini made up of gold coin-like pieces. Padma gave a coy smile to the camera as she put the skimpy top ($62) and matching thong bottoms ($62) by Toxic Sadie on display. The model wore her long brunette locks in beach waves for the sultry photo shoot.
“From the first conversation to the fitting to every interaction I’ve had with [Editor in Chief MJ Day] and everyone, they said this is about you feeling good and your comfort level,” Padma told the outlet regarding the shoot. “I want everybody to see this pictorial and understand that sometimes a whole new phase that’s even more exciting than anything you’ve ever experienced before can happen well over 40.”
