Padma Lakshmi landed on the Power List for balancing many roles, including mother, author, activist for social justice, and host of Bravo's Top Chef and her heart for helping others. The publication noted that she does it all with an incredible sense of humor and her budding role as an organizer of charitable comedy events benefitting women shows off her philanthropic calling.
Likewise, Brandon Maxwell's momentous expansion from fashion designer for Lady Gaga, Michelle Obama, Nicole Kidman, and Jennifer Lawrence into the broadcast world as a judge on Project Runway earned him a spot alongside Lakshmi.
