NeNe Leakes Takes Beef With Star Jones to 'Ellen'
"She thought I was going to come in and take over," the ATL 'Wife says.
If NeNe Leakes is trying to calm the storm with Star Jones, she has a funny way of showing it. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star and Celebrity Apprentice contender hit The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday, where she announced, "We're kind of OK. I'm trying to feel her out right now."
Smooth sailing... until a minute later when NeNe said, "[Star] is bossy, she's manipulative, conniving... and I'm not even being funny." And just for good measure, NeNe added "controlling" and "a disaster" to the list. But believe it or not, NeNe's working on bumping her relationship with her Celebrity Apprentice co-star from sworn enemy to frienemy... a new territory considering the two never clicked from the get-go.
"When I walked into the situation, I tried to walk in with no preconceived notions. I was just thinking, 'OK, I'm going to do the show. I'm going to get to know who Star is," the 'Wife says. "I think she had preconceived notions... Just from watching me on the Housewives, I think she thought I was going to come in and take over."
