Nene Leakes Confirms She's Dating Someone New

Nene Leakes is addressing rumors about her love life. Nene revealed that she is dating again following the passing of Gregg Leakes back in September. In addition to confirming that she is seeing someone new, she noted that she was given Gregg's blessing to date again before he passed away following a battle with cancer.

"We’re dating! We’re friends," she told The Shade Room about her new relationship. “I will love Gregg forever [and] ever! Grieving is hard! Even harder [and] depressing alone. Gregg and I had a very tearful conversation before his passing. His words to me were 'be happy, keep smiling and he who finds you, has found a good one.'"

While she didn't name names in her statement to The Shade Room, Nene's confirmation comes after multiple reports that she is dating businessman Nyonisela Sioh, who was in attendance at Nene's recent brithday party. They were also later spotted in Miami together.

Nene didn't directly comment on her dating life in recent Instagram posts, but did offer updates on how she's doing several months after Gregg's passing. "I just wanna be happy….that’s all," she wrote in one Instagram message, alongside a heart emoji and the hashtag "#onelife." She added in separate posts, "I got nothing but love for you," as well as "Watch out…She’s outside" alongside the hashtag "#shesback."

Back in October, she shared a message for any potential suitors who had been reaching out to her via DMs. "Thank you to everybody. All the gentlemen that have been in my DMs, thank y'all too," she said in her Instagram Stories at the time. "I'm just over here doing me right now, but, anyway, hey... I love reading the messages. They are inspiring to say the least. Thank you."
