NeNe Leakes has never been one to apologize for any choice, especially when it comes to the risks she takes in the world of fashion. And she's making no exception regarding one of her recent hairstyles. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star is opening up about her blonde beehive style that got all of the internet buzzing.
She took to Instagram to defend her choice, and even post some of the memes that it's spawned—including the Bride of Frankenstein.

NeNe first opened up about the hairstyle on social media last week, where she explained a bit about the origins of the 'do.
"I just bursted into laughter while watching some up coming housewives footage!" she said. "trying to figure out how my hair went from the pictures on the left to the picture on the right! Oh I remember but never mind let's just laugh together LOL LOL PS: you know, I know exactly who I am so I can ALWAYS laugh at myself."
NeNe's no-nonsense attitude about style and fashion have made some fans wonder if she might be a great replacement to sit at on the Fashion Police panel. There are currently two vacant seats after both Kelly Osbourne and Kathy Griffin parted ways from the show over the last few weeks. NeNe seems open to the idea.
"Because I'm fashionable and I keep it real like Joan," she recently told TMZ when asked why she should be considered. "I keep it real and tell it like it is and I love [Joan]."
