Andy Cohen Bros Out with Jamie Foxx at MLB's All-Star Celebrity Softball Game
The #WWHL host basically turned the baseball diamond into a red carpet.
We're pretty sure Andy Cohen just had the best Sunday of the year — maybe even ever. The Watch What Happens Live host took the field with some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment during the All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game on Sunday at Petco Park in San Diego.
Andy looked like a natural playing for the National League team, along with Drew Brees, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, and Morris Chestnut.
How could he and buddy Mark Consuelos not have a blast surrounded by some of the MLB's most iconic mascots?
But it wasn't all play and no work for the WWHL emcee. He also hosted a special for Radio Andy where he caught up with some of his fellow celebs-turned-softball players on the diamond.
Andy got political with Jamie Foxx as the two discussed the 2016 presidential election. "As a father of kids, I've always allowed my kids to go to political events. I can't allow my kids [to] watch this one because of what's being said. 'You're despicable. You're a lowlife.' That's not what we do," said Jamie, who is supporting Hillary Clinton this election. "I'm a real man, and I don't compromise that. If my candidate was like that, I wouldn't vote for him and I would lobby against them. Now you're seeing how men are going to have to compromise their values."
After getting ready "doing bro things" in the locker room, Andy and Pete Wentz discussed the importance of wearing proper undergarments under the white pants of their uniform. "I realized why the white undies exist, you know what I'm saying?" Pete told Andy. "I had on, like, some darker ones... Mine were, like, popping. It was not good."
Andy and Pete look like they make a great team.
Andy delivered a play-by-play of Terry Crews' dancing pecs so well, you can practically picture them yourself as you listen to the interview. But if you're looking for something a little more sentimental, the Brooklyn Nine-Nine star also reminisced about San Diego, a city he used to spend a lot of time in as a player for the San Diego Chargers in 1993. "San Diego is all of L.A. without the crap," he said. "It's 100 percent clean. Very military. Very safe. It's clean and it's beautiful. You see, there's no smog. Look at this. It's absolutely gorgeous."
The only thing about this photo that doesn't make us smile is the fact that Terry is wearing a shirt.
But getting back to a sexier subject, when you're talking to someone like Teen Wolf star Tyler Hoechlin, who will be starring in the upcoming 50 Shades Darker, you can't blame Andy for asking if he'll be seen in the buff in the film. Unfortunately, Tyler didn't offer up any juicy tidbits. "This is one of those NDA, can't say anything, otherwise I'll never work in this town again," he said.
Oh, well. At least we have this cute pic of him and Andy from the softball game to admire until the movie hits theaters.
Tyler and Andy bonded over their facial hair.
And take a gander at these throwback photos of Andy while you're at it.
