Meghan King Edmonds' 2-Year-Old Daughter and 9-Month-Old Twins Have Reached Some Big Milestones
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum and mom of three has an update on life in St. Louis.
How the months fly! Meghan King Edmonds' twin boys — whom, of course, we remember as wee newborns — are now 9 months old. And if you're wondering what Hayes and Hart have been up to, mama's got the lowdown.
On her blog, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum filled followers in on her kiddos' latest milestones. "Most recently we dropped down from three naps a day to two so it’s the first big 'routine transition' for them," Meghan shared. She added: "They are eating like crazy, too."
The mother of three also shared some insight into her wee one's distinct personalities. "Hayes is crawling, sitting up, trying to stand up on his own, mimicking sounds, saying 'baba' and 'mama.' and loves anything Aspen does. He’s ticklish and smiles when something is silly or he sees someone he loves," Meghan shared.
She added: "He also loves banging toys against things to hear the sounds it makes. Hayes is independent, wants to be on the move always, and more interested in toys than people."
Hart, however, is more of a sensitive soul. "He is sensitive to new environments and people," Meghan shared. "Hart is still a mama’s boy, very interested in people over toys, and looks for his twin brother at all times." However, Hart is quick to grin, too. Of this twin, Meghan also said: "He’s super ticklish and easy to make smile."
The twins' have also had a warm-weather getaway, and recently displayed their more "extra" sides in Florida.
Meanwhile, the twins' big sis Aspen is already two years old. Back in December, Meghan shared some scoop on the toddler's first day of school on her blog. "When I got her out of her crib this morning I asked her 'Do you know what today is?' She slowly and thoughtfully replied, 'Pee-school' …and my heart melted," the RHOC alum shared.
She added: "When I picked her up she was excited to see me and gave me a huge hug then ran back toward her classroom to 'help' a little girl with her backpack and pick up her brand new Christmas tree artwork she created. They said she fit right in. I knew it was time for her to start! We may have started school in December but it worked out perfectly for Aspen."
The two-year old is also loving her role as big sister, and Meghan has posted recent snaps of her whole family, including husband Jim Edmonds, hanging out together happily.
Though she did confess that Aspen can be a bit of a pacifier thief on some days.
Also, the twin babes aren't the only ones who can be a little "extra" from time to time. Look who else enjoys getting dressed up:
And while the twins are just learning to crawl, Aspen is, of course, already quite mobile. So much so, that Meghan has to keep an eye on her when she's in the kitchen — lest she grab the sprinkles jar!
Though she has three tots now, Meghan does find some time to bond with each of them one-on-one. Back in February, she and Aspen took a girls' trip to Los Angeles. And though traveling alone with a toddler wasn't exactly a piece of cake, the mother-daughter duo made it!
It sounds like Meghan's home life is beautifully, happily hectic, and the mother of three is glad to be living back in Saint Louis surrounded by family. During the holidays, she reflected: "Hosting Christmas Eve for 20+ with three babies can be a lot but we pulled it off beautifully. Nights like tonight validate my decision to move to Missouri times a million. Family is everything."
