Mauricio Umansky Shares Moments From a Fun Night Out: “Couldn’t Stay Away”
Mauricio Umansky's former dance partner, Emma Slater, also just shared a major update on her health.
It's been a while since Mauricio Umansky donned his dancing shoes, but he just returned to his old stomping (well, dancing) grounds.
The Agency founder, who is currently estranged from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Kyle Richards, returned to the Dancing with the Stars stage on October 15. This time around, he went as a spectator, and not as a competitor.
Mauricio shared a photo of his view of pro Daniella Karagach and former NBA player Dwight Howard performing.
"I couldn't stay away from [DWTS] let's see it," the Season 32 alum wrote alongside the image, shared via Instagram Stories.
In another Story, Mauricio posted a video of pair Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko (who ultimately got eliminated at the end of the night) dancing along with Brooks' sisters.
"Let's gooo [Nader] sisters [Brooks Nader] and [Gleb Savchenko]," Mauricio captioned the video.
Mauricio Umansky's former DWTS partner Emma Slater suffers injury
On the same day that Mauricio returned to DWTS, his former dance partner, Emma Slater, shared that she had suffered an ankle injury.
"Today threw a little curve ball at me but got looked after by some special people," Emma wrote on Instagram alongside a carousel of photos of her taking a phone call from the hospital. "On the phone to my mum and dad letting them know I’m [OK]. All is good, will be back soon..."
Emma Slater and Mauricio Umansky's friendship
After spending a lot of time together rehearsing and competing on DWTS, Emma and Mauricio maintained a post-show friendship. The two have grown even closer since they appeared on the show together.
According to Emma, they bonded over their respective marital separations. Mauricio and Kyle separated in the summer of 2023, while Emma and her ex, Sasha Farber, split in 2022.
"I really think that Mauricio is someone who’s going to be in my life forever," she told Us Weekly in May 2024 about her friendship with her former partner. “We really do click."
Emma added, "We sort of went through difficult times at the same time together and were each other’s confidants. It was a really nice season. Difficult for both of us, but we’re really, really grateful that we had each other."
About a month later, Emma paid tribute to the realtor on Instagram in honor of his 54th birthday.
"Legend!!! [Mauricio Umansky]," she wrote in an Instagram Story at the time alongside a solo shot of Mauricio. "Happy birthday."
