Kyle Richards Sheds New Light on How Her Split from Mauricio Will Play Out on Season 14
RHOBH's Kyle Richards felt like she was in a "brand new" place when Season 14 filmed.
Kyle Richards just teased what fans can expect to see from her and her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14.
After confirming that The Agency founder will appear in the upcoming season, Kyle said that it was "emotional" to film scenes with her former partner.
"[Mau] does shoot with me this season quite a bit," Kyle said during a recent chat with Us Weekly about how much he was involved in light of their 2023 separation. "And it was brand new[,] as he had just actually moved out right before we started shooting. And then my daughter did also. So I was very emotional during that time."
Kyle didn't share what exactly she and Mauricio spoke about when they filmed together. She did, however, confirm that viewers will "see what [they're] going through in a lot of conversations this season on camera."
The mom of four also discussed Mauricio's participation in RHOBH Season 14 in another chat with the outlet.
"He'll come over for dinner and it's like nothing has changed, yet everything has changed. The best way I can put it is that we’re family," she said about their amicable relationship. "It’s easy for us to get along because we never fought. That was not an issue in our marriage; there’s so much love there."
What else to expect from RHOBH Season 14
In addition to confirming that Mauricio will appear on the show, Kyle also revealed that she had a "meltdown" for the first time ever while filming.
"I was like, 'I don’t think I can physically do this anymore.' I walked off the set and didn’t shoot the next day. I was at my breaking point," she told the publication. "I have so much on my plate, and some of the women just push."
Kyle's older sister Kathy Hilton, who will appear on the season as a friend, also teased some of the drama fans can expect to see.
"There's a lot of drama, there's a lot of heart, there's a lot of soul, there's a lot of real reality — not manufactured. It never is on that show. I have to be honest with you, so many people think it is, but it isn't."
Who is the cast for RHOBH Season 14?
Kyle is joined in the cast by Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Sutton Stracke, Garcelle Beauvais, and newbie Bozoma Saint John. Kathy and Jennifer Tilly will be friends of the ladies.
