Patricia Altschul Explains Why She Missed Madison LeCroy’s Engagement Party
The Southern Charm matriarch also teased what’s in store for Season 8, set to premiere in June.
Southern Charm’s Madison LeCroy recently celebrated her upcoming nuptials to Brett at an engagement party that she later confirmed was incredibly fun. “Honestly this engagement party was 10/10,” she shared on Instagram about the party, which was attended by the couple’s loved ones.
However, one person was absent from the party: Madison’s longtime friend and client Patricia Altschul. One fan asked Patricia on Instagram why she missed the party, inquiring, “Were you not invited to Madison’s wedding?” Well, Patricia offered up an explanation: “It was an engagement party and I was in Savannah.”
For anyone wondering what Patricia was doing in Savannah, she revealed she had traveled there to appear in an upcoming documentary about her late friend, fashion icon André Leon Talley, who passed away earlier this year.
“BIG NEWS………there is going to be a documentary on Andre Leon Talley and I’m here at [The Savannah College of Art and Design] to tell vignettes from our 30 years of friendship,” she shared on Instagram last week. Her trip also included a memorial tribute for the fashion editor.
Summer is bound to be busy for Patricia and Madison with Season 8 of Southern Charm set to premiere in just weeks. Patricia shared a preview about the new season on Instagram, writing, “‘Jello Shots’ are low class,” and adding this tease: “New season of [Southern Charm] starts on June 23 and it’s going to be a good one.”
Leva Bonaparte, Craig Conover, Kathryn Dennis, Austen Kroll, Madison, and Shep Rose are returning for Season 8. This season, they will be joined by Olivia Flowers, Marcie Hobbs, Chleb Ravenell, and familiar faces Venita Aspen, Taylor Ann Green, and Naomie Olindo. Patricia, John Pringle, and Whitney Sudler-Smith will also be hanging out with the crew.
