Luann de Lesseps Reveals Which Housewife She Really Wishes Joined RHONY: Legacy

The RHONY legends are having fun in the sun for The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 4, though one former Housewife is missed by others.
The Real Housewives of New York City O.G. Luann de Lesseps told fellow ex-‘Wives Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley, Ramona Singer, Kelly Killoran Bensimon, and Kristen Taekman that there was one alum she would love to see return to Bravo, as seen in RHUGT Season 4, Episode 3.
The big reveal came when the women participated in a French cooking class with Jarad, founder of St. Barts Ocean Club. The group enjoyed their lunch (crispy fish scales and all) against breathtaking sea views when Dorinda asked the gang if there was someone else they wanted to “join the class” for Ultimate Girls Trip.
Who Luann wanted on RHUGT: RHONY Legacy
Initially, Ramona answered with “nobody,” with Sonja adding that the present crew was “perfect” as is.
“Well, I would have liked Tinsley to be here,” Luann told the rest, speaking of Tinsley Mortimer, who appeared on RHONY Seasons 9 through 12. “I would really like Tinsley to be here.”
Dorinda echoed Luann, adding, “I would like Tinsley to be here, too.”
Sonja excitedly shouted, “Yes!” at the idea of Tinsley returning to the Bravoverse.
RHUGT quickly flashed back to a RHONY Season 12 memory when Ramona scolded Tinsley for staining Ramona’s duvet after falling asleep in bed with food. In another flashback, viewers saw a distraught Tinsley mourning the death of her dog, Bambi, with Sonja and Ramona by her side.
In a final scene, it was Luann versus Tinsley after Luann mocked Tinsley for stumbling over her words.
Obviously, the pair have mended things since previous seasons, as Luann maintained in St. Barts, “She’s great.”
“But she’s dating a guy,” Sonja told the others. “She’s with a great guy now, so don’t rock the boat.”
Tinsley, now living in Augusta, Georgia, married businessman Robert Bovard on November 11, 2023.

As part of her original question, Dorinda also wondered which of the former Housewives they wouldn’t want to see back on the show, something Kelly was quick to answer.
“A ‘no’ for me is Alex McCord,” Kelly said of the Housewife who appeared on RHONY Seasons 1 through 4. “I mean, I could not film with her.”
“Here we go,” said Luann as she cut into her food.
Sonja noted, “You like the realest of the realest” as for why Kelly chose Alex as someone Kelly didn’t want back.
“I want to know what’s going on,” Kelly explained. “I want to, like, hear what’s happening in people’s lives.”
RHUGT took viewers back to RHONY Season 4’s girls trip to Morocco, when Luann hosted a henna tattoo session with Kelly and Cindy Barshop. The beautiful and cultural event was interrupted when the women heard someone loudly descending the stairs, as seen in RHONY Season 4, Episode 10.
“What is that? Is that a buffalo coming down the stairs?” Luann wondered aloud.
A visibly upset Alex ran in, exclaiming she had to speak with Luann before leaving the room as abruptly as she entered. She returned a moment later and repeated that she wanted to talk to Luann but couldn’t express why.
“You have to come down in a normal way; you can’t just come storming down,” Kelly told Alex. “It’s not authentic, it looks weird.”
Kelly repeatedly called Alex “weird” and “inauthentic,” and then accused Alex of “acting.”
At St. Barts, Luann had her own story about Alex, explaining how she and her former husband, the French Count Alexandre de Lesseps, agreed to have dinner with Alex and her husband, Simon van Kempen, ahead of filming for RHONY’s debut season.
Luann said The Count was “so nice” while out with the couple, but when he and Luann returned home, he said, “Don’t ever ask me to go to dinner with those people ever again,” she claimed.
The lunch convo soon veered into Kelly wondering why she hadn’t gone out to dinner with Luann, but hey. At least the girls lunch wasn’t “inauthentic!”
