Lisa Vanderpump Reveals When We Can Expect Vanderpump Rules to Begin Filming Again
The Vanderpump Rules matriarch explained what's next for her restaurants and the show.
Amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, life in the restaurant industry has been uncertain to say the least. Lisa Vanderpump announced the temporary closure of her Los Angeles and Las Vegas restaurants in the spring of 2020, but now that guidelines are allowing eateries to operate at a limited capacity, things are starting to pick back up. So what does this mean for the future of Vanderpump Rules? Lisa shared some details about when we can expect to catch up with our favorite SURvers again on the March 23 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
When asked if SUR is currently open for business in the video above, Lisa explained that although they’re “still waiting for the numbers to change,” the popular restaurant is “open, and we’ve got an extra terrace outside the front.”
“Any idea of when Vanderpump Rules will get shooting again?” Andy asked.
“Oh, you couldn’t tell me that!” Lisa jokingly replied, to which Andy said, “No, I can’t! I feel like you can tell me. Everyone always asks me and I’m like, as soon as things open up is my assumption.”
“Everyone always asks me the same thing. Listen. We’re heading towards the right direction,” said Lisa. “You know, it’s a story that keeps playing out, but we’re getting there.”
Lisa also confirmed that despite “what anyone’s read or heard,” PUMP is also open for business.
