The Real Housewives of Dubai cast member, mom of three, and Mina Roe designer lives a life of luxury with her husband, financier, and real estate magnate, Richard "Rich" Hall. So, it shouldn't come as a surprise that her diamond engagement ring is just as lavish as she is.
Details on Lesa Milan's Cushion Cut Engagement Ring from Husband, Rich Hall
Lesa spilled all of the details on her custom, cushion-cut engagement ring on a diamond band designed by her husband in an interview with BravoTV.com. Rich took the personal responsibility to come up with the final look of the ring, and he nailed it. "I still have it. It's so beautiful," Lesa said. "Rich designed every detail, from the cut to everything that happens, you know, with rings."
But, it might be a rare occasion for RHODubai viewers to see the ring, because it's not an accessory that she sports daily. "I don't wear it that much," she explained. "I should wear it more, to be honest."
But, Lesa does frequently wear a stack of diamond bands in place of her engagement ring, which also serves a similar purpose. It's simple, stunning, and the perfect accessory to any outfit.
Who Is Lesa Milan's husband, Rich Hall?
His Instagram bio notes he's an "Entrepreneur, Expert, [and] Educator." How did Lesa Milan and Rich Hall meet?
Let's just say it was a whirlwind romance. After dating "all types of men" but continually getting her heart broken, Lesa had a "fun night out" at a club in Miami with her girlfriends in August 2012 where she met Rich. There were "sparklers sparkling, champagne flowing, and the music jumping" at the club where she ended up dancing with him, Lesa wrote in a 2020 blog post.
"Rich was on vacation from work and I was on vacation from love — we were both living our best lives that night! I remember waking up the next morning with a hangover, bruises on my legs, and a "hope you made it home safe BBM [Blackberry Message]," she wrote.
After being persuaded to get lunch with the "guys from last night," Rich showed up at Lesa's front door driving a Rolls Royce Phantom. After a spontaneous trip to the Bahamas that same weekend, Rich flew home to Dubai, Lesa started going to therapy, and they kept in touch.
"I was enjoying the time spent with myself, working out, checking things off my vision board, trying new things, and meeting new people — all while still in contact with my new favorite friend," she wrote in her blog. "I took a few trips to Dubai to see him and we always had a blast — being in his company was effortless, we were so similar yet so different."
Lesa Milan's Hilarious Engagement Story
After a year and a few months of dating, Rich came to visit Lesa, who was pregnant with their first child at the time, in Miami. She told The Daily Dish that she had an inkling that he would propose during that December 2013 trip, but she didn't know when.
"I thought it was gonna happen I think, that Monday night and we went out to dinner. And I got all dressed up for the photos," she explained. "Because, you know, I need to look perfect. And he was taking forever, and I was like, 'Dude. Just do it.' You know? And he was like, 'Do what?'"
Rich pretended he had no idea what Lesa was talking about and did not propose that night. "I was so devastated. I literally just, you know, let it go," she said
Four days later, Lesa and Rich went for a walk on the beach. "And that's when he proposed," she said. "I had no content. No photos, no memories, no nothing of it because that's just how he is. He does not like to be in the spotlight. He likes things to be organic."
As it turns out, Rich was going to propose at that first dinner. "I ruined it like, 10 minutes before he did," Lesa explained to The Daily Dish.
Lesa Milan shares an update on marriage to Rich Hall
During RHODubai Season 2 Episode 6, Lesa said that she doesn't know who she is in her relationship these days. "The thing is, my children are my priority," she explained.
"But as Mina Roe grows and everything is expanding, that also requires a lot of my time. My mom, the other day, she was like, 'Just in case Rich leaves you you need a backup plan.' I'm like, 'Mina Roe is my backup plan. And I pray to God Rich never leaves.'"
But, Lesa told The Daily Dish that she and Rich are now in an extremely good place. "Rich and I are doing great, we just celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary," she said. "He's still my biggest supporter, besides my mom, and still showing up to our weekly date nights!"
