Andy Cohen & Ryan Seacrest's "Beef Is Squashed" as They Reflect on Past Working Together

The Watch What Happens Live host and Ryan Seacrest finally squashed the alleged beef between them.

Andy Cohen and Ryan Seacrest are no longer beefing. When Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen returned to Bravo on Tuesday, September 10 after a brief end-of-summer hiatusWheel of Fortune's Ryan and Vanna White sat in the Clubhouse as the night's guests. While Ryan has appeared on WWHL a few times before, this appearance marked the first time that he and Andy had been face-to-face in the Clubhouse since their alleged "feud" began on New Year's Eve 2021.

How to Watch

However, neither TV host could really remember what caused them to allegedly beef — which apparently involved a lack of waving (more on that down below) — in the first place. "I don't even remember what the feud was about, I don't think," Andy said during the episode.

"I don't either," Ryan admitted.

As fans might recall, during Andy's New Year's Eve broadcast in December 2023, he said that he waved to Ryan, who was hosting a different broadcast, according to The Hollywood ReporterAndy confirmed this on Tuesday night's episode of WWHL and noted that they will be waving at each other this year. "But we did see each other, we did wave this year," Andy said.

"We did do all that, and I just said, 'Are you gonna be there this year,'" Ryan said. "We will be, we will wave."

"Everything's good," Ryan confirmed.

"The beef is squashed," Andy concluded.

ICYMI: This alleged feud all began on New Year's Eve 2021, while Andy was hosting New Year's Eve Live and Ryan was hosting another countdown program.  Andy later took to his Sirius XM radio show in January 2022, where he said that he regretted the moment. "I really like Ryan Seacrest and he's a great guy," he said during the show, according to Page Six.

Ryan Seacrest's Involvement with Shahs of Sunset and working with Andy Cohen

After clearing things up live on air, Ryan spoke about his involvement with the Bravo show Shahs of Sunset. Andy revealed (as seen in the video above) that Ryan had brought the show to Bravo after he and his production team put it together.

"That was something where the production company saw some casting of people who wanted to be — show their lifestyle on TV after seeing [Keeping Up With] The Kardashians," he explained. "And we, together worked on that show. And we had great characters. That's what makes those shows, as you know, the best. Great characters."
