Get to know the spouse of The Real Housewives of New York City's new friend Rebecca Minkoff a little better.
The Real Housewives of New York City Season 15 will introduce viewers to fashion designer Rebecca Minkoff, who makes her Bravo debut in the new season as a friend to the RHONY Housewives. Rebecca is already a household name as a fashion designer, but she lives in an artistic household as her husband Gavin Bellour is a creative individual, who has directed, produced, and acted in a number of projects in his lifetime.
Here's your chance to get to know Rebecca's family a little better, including her husband Gavin and their four children.
Who is Gavin Bellour?
Rebecca's husband Gavin Bellour is a "director, creative, [and] dad," according to his Instagram bio. But his credits are a bit more extensive than that.
What does Gavin Bellour do for a living?
Gavin is a Hollywood insider working as a director and actor. According to his website bio, Gavin's "signature blend of premium visuals and human whimsy has been deployed by Netflix, Vogue, Under Armour, Viceland, and Progressive Insurance, among others. Per his bio at his creative content agency, Chromista TV, Gavin is "an honors graduate of the UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television, Bellour honored a hands-on style of film craft by working on commercials, film sets, live broadcasts, and post-production, and by acting in commercial campaigns, indie films, and television shows."
In an interview with Little Black Book, Gavin revealed that humor drives him to the projects that he works on. "I'm just kind of fascinated with what makes us laugh and why," he explained. "More generally, it's just creating those moments of connection between people and the audience. Humor is an amazing tool for that — it might be a straight comic bit or just one of those 'aha' moments of recognition where we see a version of ourselves or someone we know on screen. I get passionate about that stuff, and it's the most fun thing to create."

The pair tied the knot in a 2009 ceremony in Tuscany, Italy. The fashionista wore strapless white dress (notably not a wedding dress, according to the fashion publication) by Dolce and Gabbana to tie the knot in front of friends and family members.
The couple had their second wedding ceremony at New York City Hall in June 2009, where they got their certificate of marriage and said "I do" in front of some of Gavin's family members, according to New York Magazine. Rebecca wore a short white dress, purchased on a business trip to Paris, layered on top of a pair of black tights and underneath a black cardigan.

In a 2018 interview with The Bump, Rebecca opened up about her approach to motherhood. "I've always made a conscious effort to not be an over protective, hovering, helicopter parent," she explained. "I try not to sweat some of the small stuff. Sometimes, we try to control our kids too much. And yes, it's good for them to have good habits, but I've also learned that as they get older, you can still teach them good habits."
