Kyle Richards Explains What's Different About Her Current Drama with Lisa Vanderpump
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ladies always worked out their issues in the past. So what changed?
Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump have been through many ups and downs during the past nine seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. However, their friendship has always had a way of bouncing back from whatever conflict arose.
That is, until their heated discussion at Lisa's home, Villa Rosa, after a story about the dog Dorit Kemsley adopted from the Vanderpump Dog Center was leaked to Radar Online (clip above). When Lisa asked Kyle to leave her home, that appeared to mark the end of this longtime friendship.
Since the RHOBH ladies have always been able to get their relationship back on track in the past, Kyle addressed why it seemed like this incident was "the straw that broke the camel's back" during an interview with E! News' Daily Pop earlier this week. "It wasn't really the straw that broke the camel's back for me; she made it the straw that broke the camel's back for her," Kyle said of Lisa.
Kyle went on to say that Ken Todd's vocal presence during her conversation with Lisa that day didn't help matters. "I think if Ken had not been at her house in the kitchen with us, I think it would have been a very different outcome," she said. "I think that we could have talked through it. Maybe we could have left it as, 'OK, we can agree to disagree,' and that's it. I never intended for it to end a friendship."
Kyle also told PEOPLE in another interview this week "what happened at Lisa’s house was really upsetting."
“She had such an overly dramatic reaction, screaming at me like that,” Kyle said. “She can be challenging and stubborn.”
The mom of four has not been in communication with Lisa since that day. However, Kyle told PEOPLE she would be willing to repair her friendship with Lisa. “I would like to think we can be friends again,” she shared. “I always have room in my heart for someone that I have cared about.”
Lisa previously admitted she was "overly emotional" during her discussion with Kyle, and has also said she's disappointed their friendship has ended. "Of course I miss that friendship, but maybe it wasn't such a good friendship after all is said and done," Lisa said on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in April.
