Ariana Madix Gives Her Honest Opinion of Kristen Doute's Sketch Comedy
The #PumpRules bartender had a surprising reaction to the performance on #WWHL.
Ariana Madix takes comedy very seriously, as we learned last season of Vanderpump Rules. So when Kristen Doute performed with her sketch comedy group in Monday night's episode, we were dying to know what the SUR bartender thought of the performance.
Ariana shared her true feelings about Kristen's comedy chops on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. "I mean, I think it's cool that people work hard on a thing and put it out there," she told Andy Cohen. "I mean, it's a harsh world out there, so there's gonna be some positive and there's gonna be negative opinions."
Well, that's a lot more positive feeback than we were expecting from Ariana, who hasn't exactly gotten along with Kristen in the past. And remember just how much the idea of Kristen attempting sketch comedy set Ariana off last season?
Still, Kristen didn't hold back the shade during the episode, speculating that Ariana didn't attend her show because she didn't want to take the chance that she might actually find her funny. But Ariana explained on Twitter that she had to go to a meeting to plan a fundraising event with Project Elev8.
Kristen and her fellow sketch comedy slayers were proud of their performance, and that's all that really matters, isn't it?
