Kim Zolciak-Biermann Knows Why People Think She Looks So Different These Days

Kim Zolciak-Biermann has never been shy about all of the cosmetic procedures she has undergone over the years. But even though some have speculated that she doesn't look quite the same as when we first met her on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kim has always maintained that she has never had any sort of plastic surgery performed on her face.
It looks like the subject of Kim's appearance will even come up again when she makes her triumphant return to RHOA during Sunday night's season finale. In a sneak peek, we see that Kenya Moore tells Kim, "I know I'm not a duck like your lips," during their heated confrontation.
Kim has a feeling she knows why people think her appearance has gone through such a dramatic transformation. “I think where people get confused is that I was pregnant for three years,” she said during a recent interview with PEOPLE. “I saw a [Real Housewives of Atlanta] clip with Kenya [Moore] saying, ‘Kim looks real different now than when she walked off the show five years ago’ — well, I hope so!”
During Kim's final season of RHOA in Season 5, she was eight months pregnant with son Kash Biermann, and she gave birth to twins Kane and Kaia in 2013. “So I look different," Kim explained.
Kim also told PEOPLE that she is "the exact same size" now that she was before she had kids. "I’ve aged, so my face has thinned out a little bit," she said. "But I have nothing to hide. And also I have nothing to prove!”
However, Kim is going to stick up for daughter Brielle Biermann, who has also been the target of plastic surgery rumors. “I get irritated when they come for Brielle,” she said. “I think people have calmed down about the nose — Brielle has not had a nose job.”
Kim said that Kaia “has the same nose Brielle and I have, basically," and she's not afraid to prove that good looks run in the family on social media. “Do you think my 3-year-old has had a nose job?” Kim said. “I’ve posted pictures of my family members — my uncle, my grandmother. And people are like, ‘Oh, she has the same nose,’ — well shocker!”
