Was Kim Zolciak-Biermann Offended by Her Brother Mike Zolciak's Comments About Her Family?
Find out if the Don't Be Tardy siblings are still in touch today.
Kim Zolciak-Biermann reunited with her brother, Mike Zolciak, for the first time in 16 years in the latest episode of Don't Be Tardy. Though their reunion was filled with love, laughter, and a special appearance by a sports legend, there were a couple of moments that may have left Don't Be Tardy fans cringing.
As Kim and Mike caught up over lunch with their spouses Kroy and Jessica, respectively, they each filled the other on what their children have been up to lately. Kim told Mike that her eldest child, Brielle Biermann, is "very successful on social media" and that "she makes well into six figures." In response, Mike said to Kim, "No, rewind here for a second, though. What does she want to do in life, though?"
Later on in the episode, as Mike and Jessica arrived for Kim's 40th birthday party, the couple commented on the family's outfits. "Brielle's half-naked. Holy hell," Jessica said, to which Mike replied, "I think they all are."
Kim shared her reaction to her brother and sister-in-law's remarks during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Sunday night. "Yes, I don't think he can relate to kind of Brielle and her Instagram world and how successful she's become and been," Kim shared.
"And then the half-naked comment, I asked Kroy because I said we were all really dressed. My sleeves went to here, my skirt went to here, my boots went to my skirt. So that was a little strange. I think they forgot they were mic'd."
Kim also gave an update on how things are going between herself and Mike today, as well as if anything has changed in her relationship with her parents, with whom she has been estranged since her wedding to Kroy in 2011. "I don't talk to my parents, but I talk to my brother," she explained. "And my brother doesn't [talk to my parents], either. So that was comforting to find that out."
Kroy, who was in the audience during Sunday night's WWHL, then opened up a little bit about his still-strained relationship with his family back in his home state of Montana. "They're great people; it's just we don't jive," he said.
