Kandi Burruss Just Revealed a New Fact About Kenya Moore's Baby Girl

Life just got a little more gone with the wind fabulous for Kenya Moore, who welcomed her daughter, Brooklyn Doris Daly, over the weekend. The little girl marks the first child for The Real Housewives of Atlanta entrepreneur and her restaurateur husband, Marc Daly. And you can bet her pal Kandi Burruss is excited for her.

"I feel like Kenya's gonna be an amazing mother. She loves kids — that's all she ever talked about up until this point. So now she has a new baby girl to just love on all day, use all her Kenya Moore haircare [products on], 'cause this baby has a lot of hair," Kandi told The Daily Dish on Monday, one day after Kenya became a mom. "And she's in a great place. [She and Marc] are truly in love. I actually hang with them outside of the show, no cameras around. This has nothing to do with TV — she's happy and I'm happy to see it."

Given how vocal Kenya has been over the years about making her dream of motherhood come true, Kandi thinks that her pal is probably glowing pretty bright hours into her new life. "Of course, how can she not be?" Kandi said. "Kenya has been waiting for this moment forever, so you know there's no words to describe how happy she is right now."

She first confirmed she was pregnant during the Season 10 RHOA reunion. Last week, Kenya confirmed on Instagram that she had tested positive for possible preeclampsia, which can cause major swelling and high blood pressure in pregnant women, which indicated that she might have to be induced early.

As for how she came up with the moniker, well, she revealed all to PEOPLE, following the baby's birth: “Brooklyn because that’s where we met and fell in love, and Doris after my grandmother who passed away last year and who raised me. Brooklyn is very alert and active.”
