Kenya Moore Teases Her Next TV Project, and It Includes a Familiar Face
The RHOA alum is reuniting with someone from her past for her new Netflix show.
Listen up, Kenya Moore is back at it. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum has confirmed that she'll appear in the upcoming Netflix project Family Reunion. While the details about her latest acting role are still a bit of a mystery, the project does reunite her with Loretta Devine, whom she last worked with in the iconic female empowerment movie, Waiting to Exhale.
Brooklyn Doris Daly's mama shared a photo of herself on set, writing about the experience, "Nothing but love for this hilarious, talented, gracious and beautiful soul [Loretta]. We first worked together on Waiting To Exhale which was my first movie role. Just a joy to work with."
According to Deadline, the project also stars Tia Mowry and is described as "a new multi-generational, multi-camera comedy series." Devine added in a statement: “I am so blessed to be part of this new and exciting moment in time that will touch and bring laughter, smiles, and joy to everyone who sees it."
Kenya's other acting credits include Girlfriends, In the House, Meet the Browns, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Smart Guy (starring Tia's brother, Tahj Mowry), Living Single (alongside former RHOA pal, Kim Fields), The Parent 'Hood, and Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens, among others.
She also made a cameo during the Season 11 finale of RHOA after exiting following Season 10 (clip above).
