Taylor Armstrong Reveals Why She'll "Always Be Close" with Kyle Richards
Taylor and Kyle, who appeared on the first three seasons of RHOBH together, still have "a huge bond."
It's been more than a decade since Kyle Richards and Taylor Armstrong last shared the screen on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but the ladies will "always be close."
Taylor, who also appeared on Season 17 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, recently had an exclusive chat with BravoTV.com, where she shared an update on her friendship with Kyle. Plus, she also revealed her thoughts on Kyle's recent separation from Mauricio Umansky.
Taylor Armstrong Says It's Like "Old Times" When She Sees Kyle Richards
Kyle, Taylor, and alums Lisa Vanderpump, Camille Grammer Meyer, Adrienne Maloof, and Kim Richards all appeared on the debut season of RHOBH. Though it's rare for Taylor, who now resides in Newport Beach with her husband, John Bluher, and her daughter, Kennedy Armstrong, to run into any of the ladies, they all still share a special connection.
"Kyle and I will always be close. We lived just three streets apart from each other and, of course, Portia and Kennedy were [close] — Portia was turning two and Kennedy was turning four, and we spent a ton of time at their house," Taylor said about her current status with Kyle. "The girls would have sleepovers all the time and so she and I definitely have a huge bond."

Though it's rare for the Season 1 diamond holders to get together, Taylor is on "good terms" with them all.
"I mean, I’m on good terms with all of them. Every one of us will DM different things, you know? Everyone’s lives are busy and we all have kids, and, so, as much as it seems like we would see each other all the time, [we can't]. The other thing is [that] there is a geographical challenge," she added. "People [who] don’t live here, I think they’re more under the impression that we just pop up to Beverly Hills for lunch, and the 405 is a whole ‘nother ballgame. So, it’s not as simple as it seems just to go hang out for, you know, a couple hours and come back..."
"So, we don’t spend as much time together, but I feel like if we all got back together again, it would just be like old times immediately," she continued. "There’s just a bond, like, a familial bond with that group for me that will last a lifetime."
Taylor Armstrong Reacts to Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky's Split
As someone who has seen Kyle and Mauricio together a lot in person, Taylor had some thoughts about their recent separation.
"I mean, she and Mauricio have had this incredibly beautiful love affair that’s been all over television, and I’ve witnessed it for many years firsthand," she told BravoTV.com. "I love them both so much and the girls just, they’re like family and I... just want everybody to be happy and figure that out, but they’re always gonna have a close relationship. I know that, and they’ll support each other and make sure that they support the girls through this time."
Taylor feels for Kyle especially because she's been navigating her split in the public eye.
"I know that it’s just got to be 10 or 100 fold when everybody else is involved in your marriage and trying to come up with the reasons why when they’re not living it," Taylor added about the public's interest in the separation. "All the speculation’s got to be like, give me a break, people."
