RHOBH's Kathy Hilton once ditched her signature blonde hair for something entirely unexpected and darker.
Kathy Hilton is known for many things: her colloquialisms, her love for box fans, and her shiny, blonde hair. So we hardly recognized The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills sister when we stumbled across a photo of Kathy with, wait for it, red hair.
Almost 20 years ago, Kathy attended the 13th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar Party with her husband, Rick Hilton, by her side. The February 2005 event took place in Los Angeles and the guest list was a who's who of Hollywood A-listers including Elizabeth Taylor, Christina Aguilera, Camille Grammer (with then-husband, Kelsey Grammer), and, yes, Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton, among others... including Kathy with her red hair that almost touches into the brunette end of the color spectrum.
We are pretty floored by how unrecognizable Kathy is with the darker hair. The hue is slightly in the auburn family and it is a playful strawberry hue.

What might be even more shocking than seeing Kathy with red hair, is seeing how little she's aged in two decades.
Earlier this year, she revealed one of the secrets to her youthful glow: “I believe that you have to have a good exfoliator," she told Us Weekly. In addition to that, she revealed some secrets to her hair including that she dry brushes her tresses daily and she also is a big fan of collagen supplements.
She shared even more secrets to her hair routine in an interview with E! News revealing that she relies on a thickening effect shampoo as well as styling tools like a blowdryer and a flat iron to get her hair just perfect.
