Kate Chastain Announces New Project After Below Deck Exit
Here's what's on deck for the Below Deck chief stew.
On the heels of her announcement that she's not returning to Below Deck, Kate Chastain, who has been a chief stew on the show since Season 2, has shared her new career plans.
Kate will host a live weekly show for Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM channel, Radio Andy. The limited-run series, Unapologetically Kate Chastain, will air its first episode on Tuesday, April 14, according to PEOPLE.
She told PEOPLE, “I’m absolutely thrilled about this opportunity to join SiriusXM’s Radio Andy family! It is both an honor and a major check off on my ‘mental vision-board bucket-list’ to join the lineup... I like to consider myself a recreational sociologist, which is quite liberating because it means I’m not judging people, I’m basically a scientist-ish. I look forward to voicing my thoughts with Radio Andy listeners nationwide!”
Kate definitely loves to share her opinion, and as an avid Bravo fan, does not hold back at all as a general rule. Just check out her thoughts on The Real Housewives of New York City ladies, above.
And it's worth noting that this isn't Kate's first foray into this medium. She hosted a podcast, After Deck with Kate Chastain, back in 2017, in which she dissected each episode of Below Deck with her signature wit and insider point of view. We can't wait to see what she brings to her new radio show!
