Karen and Ray Huger Celebrated Their 24th Anniversary in Style
Over two decades later, the RHOP couple is going strong.
Karen Huger and longtime partner Ray Huger just marked a pretty major milestone over the weekend by celebrating 24 years of marriage. The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member and her husband celebrated the day in style, as she posted on Instagram on Monday (September 7).
"Happy anniversary to us! 24 years and counting," Karen wrote.
It hasn't always been smooth sailing for the pair, as Karen has noted during Season 5 of RHOP, but when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen last month, she explained how self-quarantining during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic helped the couple.
"I would say it's helped us. Look, it's one-on-one; it's me and Ray and it's really given us time to have that quality time and work it out, baby," she said on WWHL this summer. "And that's what we're doing."
Well, clearly QT has become the norm for the Hugers as evidenced by their anniversary date, which Karen shared on Instagram.
Karen and Ray are also the proud parents to two grown children, daughter Rayvin, and son Brandon, who were supportive of their parents when they were going through some marital struggles.
“It’s so great to have adult children. I’m so blessed that they are grown. And they were grown, by the way, when Ray and I hit this impasse," she said on The Daily Dish podcast recently. “They were so cool with us, and they said, ‘Look, you guys have been great parents, but what we don’t want is you to stay together because of us. They were like, rooting for us, but they were like, ‘Look! I want you to be happy!’ That’s when you raise your children right. And they love you and they respect you enough to say, ‘Look, don’t do it for me. Do it for you all. You guys deserve the best.’”
