Kandi Burruss Teases Facing off with Nene Leakes During the RHOA Reunion
The RHOA cast member teased what happened at the Season 12 virtual reunion.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 12 reunion was filmed last week — and now we're getting some scoop from Kandi Burruss about what went down during the virtual reunion.
“Obviously it was totally different than any other reunion that we already had. I was scared because we talk over each other obviously when we’re arguing. I’m like, ‘How are we going to do that?’ But the way they have it set up, they can isolate everybody and still have it be quality which is what I care about. As far as how the girls dealt with it, I thought everybody was going to be weird about arguing face to face. But they didn’t have no problem!" she told HollywoodLife.
On Instagram last week, Kandi simply noted, "I hate reunions..." which seemed to imply things got pretty intense at the reunion. When speaking to HollywoodLife, she opened up a bit more about the mood.
“Well, for me, it was aggressive. I would say aggressive because I mean the arguments were going so crazy sometimes that Andy is trying to get us to stop and he can’t because we’re not in the room with him,” she said. “So nobody can stop us from talking or saying what we need to say, so people are just going for roadkill when they say what it is they need to say until finally some of us had to be muted! It was like a timeout.”
She cited some back and forth with Nene Leakes as particularly emotional: “Girl, she’s probably not going to talk to me for a minute! She’s probably not going to be talking to me or anybody else for awhile.”
