Kandi Burruss Compared Nene Leakes' Track to a Weird Al Yankovic Song
Here's what RHOA's resident songstress has to say about Nene's "diss track."
Kandi Burruss has a storied career in the music industry as a singer and songwriter. So when fellow The Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star Nene Leakes released a new single, "Come on and Get This Hunni," Andy Cohen was excited to get Kandi's opinion on the "diss track" when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen @ Home.
"You're the Grammy winner: what did you think?" he asked Kandi.
At first, Kandi responded diplomatically, "It was cool. It was nice." But then when pressed, she admitted, "I don't try to diss people's music and their creativity so I was going to say it was nice, but to be honest with you, to me it's more of like a novelty record, kind of like a Weird Al Yankovic type of thing."
