Safari Foxe Reacts to Todd Tucker’s Comments About Her on Kandi & The Gang
Shawndreca Robinson also shares her true feelings about being turned away from Patrick Dallas’ housewarming party.
It was the moment we'd all been waiting for. Patrick Dallas and Melvin Jones finally hosted their much-talked-about housewarming party on the April 17 episode of Kandi & The Gang, and it turned out to be even more drama-filled than we expected.
However, the evening kicked off with more of a laid-back energy. "They think you're the reason it's turnt down," Patrick said to his girlfriend, Safari Foxe, during the event. "They don't know it's just my vibe."
Safari replied, "They don't know me."
Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker then shared their true feelings about Safari in an interview during the episode. "I personally feel like Safari seems nice, but she doesn't really talk a lot," Kandi said, with Todd adding, "She never talks. I never even see her smile, you know, laugh."
Well, Safari would have to disagree with that. She responded to Todd's comments on Twitter after this episode of Kandi & The Gang aired. "[I don't know] why Todd said I never smile," she tweeted. "I'm always smiling."
Safari assured her followers that she is "super nice." And in response to a fan who commented that she is "too invested in Patrick's housewarming," Safari tweeted, "I'm not though."
Safari has been at the center of the drama surrounding this housewarming, not only when it came to the party's decor but also its guest list. She notably had some reservations about Patrick's ex, Shawndreca Robinson, attending the soirée. Even though Patrick told the whole OLG crew about the party, he was supposed to have uninvited Shawndreca, but he failed to do so before the big night.
So when Shawndreca showed up at the housewarming party with her fiancé, June, Safari was none too pleased. "Well, they're not in here, so they can stay outside," she told Dom'Unique Variety after being informed that Shawndreca was waiting to enter the event.
Patrick, Safari, and Torin Mitchell then went outside to speak with Shawndreca and June. Patrick explained that it had all been a misunderstanding, and he politely asked the couple to leave. Shawndreca and June respected Patrick's decision and went home.
Shawndreca seemed to be unbothered by the situation when reacting to the moment on Twitter after the episode aired, saying, "We had better things to do."
She also had no hard feelings toward her co-workers. "Y'all we are a family," she tweeted, before showing love to Dom, Torin, and Brian Redmond. "It's all good."
Torin also noted on Twitter that he had "no clue" Shawndreca had been uninvited from the housewarming party. "Y'all really think I would invite my friend to something she wasn't invited to?!" Torin told his Twitter followers. "Come on now, really."
Another moment from the housewarming that had everyone abuzz was Brian's 15-minute rendition of "Amazing Grace." Though some attendees poked a little fun at Brian for his performance, none other than Grammy Award-winning Kandi praised him for his many talents. "My boo [Brian] can do a little comedy, sing you a song, [and] make you some egg rolls!" Kandi tweeted. "That boy got talent!"
But perhaps Torin summed up the night best on Twitter: "That Housewarming was chaotic chile."
