Kameron Westcott Has “a Beautiful Esophagus Again” After Surgery
The RHOD mom underwent a procedure to treat her rare disease.
Kameron Westcott is on the mend following a surgery to treat her achalasia, a rare disease that affects the esophagus. The Real Housewives of Dallas mom headed to New York City for the surgery and has taken fans inside the process, and on Tuesday (December 10), offered everyone an update on how she's doing post-surgery.
Clad in all pink (naturally), the RHOD fashionista shared, "POEM Surgery went great!! Pizza on the horizon!!! I was in a lot of pain last night, but the hardest part is over now! Day 4 on liquids - Day 2 on clear liquids, and counting the days for soft food - which is on Monday!! Thank you to the amazing Dr. Stravropoulos for fixing me. I was told today I have a beautiful esophagus again!!"
She also added on Instagram Stories: "I'm alive."
Kameron also posted a photo of herself in her hospital room, writing, "POEM surgery is done!! It was rough last night but now feeling good!! Thank you for all the sweet messages!! #blessed."
And one fan's message, which she shared to her Instagram Stories, noted that only Kameron could undergo a "procedure [that] is called something ladylike and dainty - like POEM."
