Now, Jax's representative is confirming that the dad of one is leaving the facility. "Jax has spent the last 30 days in treatment and will be heading back home later this week,” his rep shared in a statement to PEOPLE on August 19. "It’s been an emotional month for him and he’s most looking forward to spending time with his son [Cruz Michael Cauchi]."

Jax Taylor's mental health treatment journey

On July 30, Jax's rep shared that the former SUR bartender had checked himself into treatment. "Jax has always been candid about his mental health struggles, especially during the past few months on his podcast. He has made the decision to seek in-patient treatment," the rep told TMZ. "This is a particularly sensitive time for him and his family. They ask for privacy and respect until he is ready to speak more on this matter."

Jax has yet to publicly speak about his decision to enter treatment.

Jax Taylor's split from Brittany Cartwright

The Jax's Studio City partner has been navigating some big changes in his life in recent months. In February 2024, his wife and Valley castmate, Brittany Cartwright, announced their separation

Brittany soon moved into another home in the San Fernando Valley, and she revealed that she wanted Jax to work on some things before she could consider a possible reconciliation.

“I think that me moving out and taking space to figure out if this is what I want is the best situation for me right now,” she told TMZ in March 2024. "If he switches some things and changes some things about his life, then maybe we can get back together. But right now, I don’t know.”

In July, Jax told TMZ that his relationship with Brittany has been complicated.

"You know, Brittany and I are separated, and we're just trying to figure it out, so, I don't know what you want to call it, but I don't look at it that way," he said on his 45th birthday on July 11 (which Brittany celebrated). He also revealed that he wasn't dating anyone else.
