Josh Flagg Reveals He Had Surgery for a "Disgusting" Health Issue: Details

The Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles agent opened up about having surgery on his face, and the photos made his castmates "nauseous."

As someone who puts a lot of effort into appearances (and has great taste!), it's no surprise that Josh Flagg turned an injury into a fashion moment.

How to Watch

During Season 15, Episode 7 of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, which aired Wednesday, August 21, the antique lover pulled up to a drink date with Josh Altman, Tracy Tutor, and Heather Altman wearing a pair of sunglasses — even though they were seated inside. As the group chatted, he kept the accessory on, not saying anything until Josh Altman called him out on it.

"So, are we not allowed to look in your eyes?" asked the Altman Brothers co-owner. To show his reasoning for the sunnies, Josh Flagg pulled them down to reveal a swollen, bruised eye.

"Holy sh-t. Did you get a black eye?" asked Josh Altman.

Josh Flagg explained that a stye in his eye (that's a red bump that develops on the edge of your eyelid, FYI) required him to have surgery, pulling out a pic of a bloody injury that his friends all shied away from due to their gag reflexes.

"It literally was like f-cking Mount Vesuvius, the sh-t that was coming out of this thing," said Josh Flagg during an interview with his fellow realtors. "Like Pompeii all over again."

"That is so disgusting, I'm already nauseous," noted Tracy, while Josh Altman said he wouldn't even tell people about it if it happened to him. To each their own, right?

While removing the stye was more of a necessary operation, Josh has also been open about other surgeries he's had. During an August 11 episode of the podcast Juicy Scoop, host Heather McDonald questioned Josh about what work he's had done — and he was happy to answer.

"I mean, where do you wanna start? Over 20 years, I've done everything," he said.

That everything includes fat sucking procedures, fat injecting procedures ("I had fat sucked out ... [and] it was really good fat so I had that injected into my ass," he explained), and multiple nose jobs, the first of which was due to a deviated septum.

"When I had my first nose job I was 16 and, like an idiot, I didn't like the packing they put in your nose because I couldn't stand the feeling," he shared. "So, I pulled it out. You're not supposed to pull it out, the doctor takes it out for you. I took it out that evening, so my nose collapsed."

He continued: "I had to get it done [...] six months later and it wasn't perfect so I went back a third time, and the third time was a charm."
