John Pringle on Austen Kroll’s Bro Code Comments: “It’s Kind of a Difficult Situation”
The Southern Charm newcomer opened up about the situation with Madison LeCroy.
John Pringle certainly made a splash in his first season as a cast member on Southern Charm. The newcomer ruffled some feathers when he made a number of comments expressing interest in fellow Charmer Madison LeCroy, which left Austen Kroll feeling as though “bro code” had been violated. During a January 7 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Pringle weighed in on the situation.
In response to a viewer who submitted a question asking for Pringle’s opinions on Austen mentioning “bro code when Austen slept with more than one of Shep’s love interests,” also adding that “he should go for it,” as he’s not close friends with Austen, Pringle admitted that the situation is slightly more complicated than that.
“I think there are some valid points in there. But I mean, there were some hypocritical things Austen did do and say,” Pringle shared in the clip, above. “That said, I think he really does care for Madison, so it’s kind of difficult situation.”
Speaking of Austen and Madison’s relationship, Andy Cohen also read a question from a viewer who wanted to know why Madison told the women she’d be upset if her former flame got a new girlfriend, asking: “Don’t you want him to move on?”
“I mean, come on. This was like, three days later,” explained Madison. “I mean, any girlfriend’s not happy about that, I don’t think, in the beginning.”
