Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave Stepped Out to Celebrate Her Dad's Big Art Show
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills rookie was spotted in NYC at an exhibit of paintings by John Mellencamp.
When it came time for John Mellencamp to show his new collection of paintings, Life, Death, Love and Freedom, in NYC last week, you can bet Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave was there to celebrate her rocker dad's latest achievement. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills rookie landed in the Big Apple and headed to Instagram to show her pop some love. She wrote, "We are proud of the great storyteller and artist you are Dad. 'A work of art is never completed, it’s only been abandoned.'"
According to Page Six, the exhibition took place at the American Contemporary Art Gallery, followed by an A-lister attended dinner at West Village hotspot, the Waverly Inn.

For those in Manhattan who want to check it out for themselves, the exhibit runs through June 2. The title of the exhibit, Life, Death, Love and Freedom, refers to a 2008 album by Mellencamp. The legendary singer/songwriter told The Guardian about the tie between the two works in a recent sit-down: “I thought the album approached a lot of different emotions and feelings in the human condition and that these paintings did, too.” Later, in the same interview, he added, “Some of the songs are more attuned to today’s world than when I wrote it. But you have to keep going.”
Below, Teddi opens up a bit more about her dad.
