Joe Gorga on His Emotional Reunion with Joe Giudice: "I Grew Up with This Man"
Joe Gorga talked about seeing his brother-in-law for the first time since the latter's deportation from the United States.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Joe Gorga had a touching thing to say about his ex-brother-in-law during BravoCon 2023.
During a panel at the event, "In a Jersey State of Mind: Part 1," Joe Gorga — who is married to RHONJ’s Melissa Gorga — gave live audiences a heartfelt response when asked about his emotional reunion with Joe Giudice during his visit to the Bahamas.
Giudice, who was once married to RHONJ O.G. Teresa Giudice — has lived in the Bahamas since his 2018 deportation from the United States. The order for his deportation came following his 41-month federal prison sentence after pleading guilty to fraud charges.

Joe Gorga Talks Reunion with Joe Giudice
“I’m gonna clarify something about this: I grew up with this man,” Joe said while on the "In a Jersey State of Mind" panel at BravoCon 2023. “Our parents were best friends growing up. We thought we were family, but we were paisans in the Italian world.”
Joe Gorga said he hadn’t seen his former brother-in-law “since he went away,” citing a moment captured on video and published on Instagram.

“That moment … was so real,” Joe Gorga continued. “And it was amazing. It really was, and we saw each other. We hugged each other, and it was such a beautiful moment.”
Joe Gorga’s wife, Melissa, also said the reunion was “nice to see.”
Joe noted someone taped the reunion and then sent it to him, leading to more than 144,000 likes on Instagram after it was posted on February 19, 2023.
In the post, he wrote: “Both walked into the same bar at the same time. A lot of history there. We have memories since we were kids. I’m happy he’s doing well and looks good. We were both happy to see each other and catch up. Glad someone caught it.”
Joe Gorga added hashtags for “Life” and “RHONJ” to the post, which showed the men all smiles after Joe Gorga’s arrival to the Bahamas. They held one another’s arms and faces for the warm welcome before Joe Gorga realized the touching moment was being captured on video.
