Jax Taylor Comments on Not Having His Mother at His Wedding to Brittany
The Vanderpump Rules star offered new insight into being estranged from his mom.
While Lisa Vanderpump served as a matriarch of sorts for Jax Taylor at his wedding to Brittany Cartwright, Jax's mother missed the event (more on that above), which was featured in the March 17 episode of Vanderpump Rules.
Following the death of his father after a battle with cancer in 2017, Jax and his mother became estranged. It's an issue he's been dealing with since then.
After the Vanderpump Rules wedding episode aired, he offered some new insight into where things stand with his mother.
"I am sure my mother is doing well, my father was set up pretty well, and she has no mortgage and owns her own business. None of my family speaks to her, so I am not sure. It’s a really rough and complicated situation," he wrote. "It didn’t go well at my sister's wedding."
Jax and Brittany married last June in Kentucky in a lavish, $100,000 affair that was attended by their loved ones.
"So I didn’t want to have any issues, I did what was best for myself and my wife, I didn’t want her perfect day ruined. People may have a opinion and that’s fine, I don’t care. It’s my life at the end of the day and I have no regrets," he continued on Twitter, regarding how being estranged from his mom affected his wedding day.
