Reunions are always full of drama, but sometimes they can prove therapeutic and provide closure for a group. This was not the case for the Vanderpump Rules Season 7 reunion, as Jax Taylor told The Daily Dish podcast.
"It was absolutely obnoxious. In all the years I've filmed this show, I've never been a part of something so insane," Jax revealed. "Even watching other shows, Housewives, I've never seen a reunion go this bad: bad for me but probably great for the viewer. I just don't like half of it. It's just going to be beeping. I got out of my seat in the first five minutes. Literally, producers had to come and hold me back, the first five minutes in... It was like a boxing match."
As for who he clashed with the most, as you can probably guess, it was James Kennedy. "I tried to keep my cool... he just gets me going. His mouth just doesn't end."
But the fighting extended beyond Jax and James. “It was bananas! It wasn’t just James and all that — that was a huge portion of it, but everybody was going at everybody," Jax said. "Everybody was held accountable this season. It was a lot lighter for me than other seasons but still, I still get my fair share of digs; people still have to come at me for something. Usually after these reunions, we all hang out, minus James. Usually, we all go get and drinks afterwards... nope, we didn't do that.
Katie [Maloney-Schwartz] and Tom [Schwartz] came over my house afterwards, it was around 12 o' clock when we got home, we ordered Taco Bell, a ton of it, and just kind of [said], 'Did this just happen? Did this reunion just happen?' Nobody talked afterwards... it was a weird reunion."
Hear more about the reunion fighting that Jax "never saw coming," which SURver had it the easiest, and what Andy Cohen had to say about it to Jax in the podcast episode above. And make sure to tune in to the Vanderpump Rules reunion next Monday at 9/8c. Preview the drama to come, below.
