Jax Taylor Defends His Rekindled Friendship with Tom Sandoval: "We're All Human"
The Valley's Jax Taylor says that he'll "always" be best friends with Tom Sandoval.
The Valley's Jax Taylor is sharing new insight into how (and why) he got back on track in his friendship with Tom Sandoval.
ICYMI, during the October 3 episode of his podcast, When Reality Hits with Jax and Brittany, Jax revealed that Sandoval had reached out to him many times when Jax was spending time at an in-patient facility for mental health-related issues. The two, whose long-standing friendship came to a rocky end on Vanderpump Rules Season 8, have now fully rekindled their relationship.
"I was very shocked about that," Jax admitted on the October 14 episode of the So Bad It's Good with Ryan Bailey podcast. "Like, during my stay, you know, people were checking in with me, but the one that stood out the most to me was Tom Sandoval."
Though they publicly had a falling-out, Jax said that he and Tom have too much history to stop being friends for good.
"He and I have been best friends for many, many years. Obviously [his affair] was a very, very big thing, and we had to take a break a little bit from our friendship," the Jax's Studio City part-owner continued on the podcast. "He had to take a break from a lot of friendships, but I think time heals all wounds."
The Valley cast member added that he believes people should try to "move on" from Tom Sandoval's past affair.
"I think we're all human, we all make mistakes, and I think, you know what? He's always going to be my best friend. [He] and Tom Schwartz are my best friends, and I love them to death," Jax concluded. "And, like I said, I think it's time to move on. I really do."
Jax Taylor reveals how often he talks to Tom Sandoval
On his own podcast, Jax shared some insight into what his friendship with Tom Sandoval looks like these days.
"Now I probably talk to Tom three to four times a week," Cruz Michael Cauchi's dad said, though Tom Sandoval has been busy with his tour for his cover band, Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras. "He comes to the bar, he sings karaoke, you know, he's on tour right now, but I just hung out with him and his mom and his dad, and it was just great to see them."
Jax reiterated, "I love Tom, and I will always love him no matter what he does. He's my best friend."
