Alexia Umansky & Jake Zingerman's At-Home Date Night Proves Why They're Couple Goals
The RHOBH daughter played a prank on her longtime boyfriend during a recent night of cooking.
Alexia Umansky reminded fans that the perfect date night doesn't have to be over the top. All you need is a cozy setting, some good wine, and a partner who knows their way around the kitchen.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills daughter returned to TikTok this week to share another glimpse at her life with Jake Zingerman — her longtime bestie-turned-live-in boyfriend. The video documented the couple’s at-home cooking night, which included a “little prank” on Alexia’s behalf.

“I’m gonna try to say everything twice until [Jake] says something, until he notices and calls me out,” Alexia explained in the October 11 TikTok. “I don’t think he will but let’s see.”
Alexia then made her way to the kitchen, where Jake was already measuring some broth and taking rice out of a pan.
“We’re all keeping it clean and efficient. We’re all keeping it clean and efficient,” Alexia said. “Nice. Nice. Now we’re gonna have some wine and we’re gonna do the rest. Now we’re gonna have some wine and we’re gonna do the rest.”
Although funny, the practical joke was relatively subtle, which might explain why Jake failed to immediately clock it.
“Yes, we got dinner coming up shortly,” he said with a smile.
Jake doesn't catch on to Alexia's prank: "Unbothered"
He then moved on to other steps, including chopping up some vegetables and herbs and coating a few chicken breasts in flour. Jake was apparently so focused on cooking he didn’t realize Alexia was repeating every sentence and interjection. So, in an attempt to make the prank more obvious, Alexia decided to ask questions, causing Jake to answer twice.
“Now I’m trying to make him repeat himself in the hopes he’d catch on,” she captioned one of the shots.
But Alexia's efforts weren’t successful, as she kept the prank going up until they sat down to eat the chicken and rice meal.
“Then we’re gonna try our first bites. Then we’re gonna try our first bites,” she said before toasting with her beau. “Ladies and gentlemen, we did good. And by ‘we,’ I mean Jake.”
As suggested in the caption, Jake never caught on to what Alexia was doing. It’s unclear if she ultimately fessed up to the prank or simply waited for Jake to watch the video.
“I think I could have done this for 2 days straight and this man would not notice,” she wrote in the caption along with the “unbothered" hashtag.
Kyle Richards reacts to Jake and Alexia's family photos
Hours before Alexia posted the cooking video, Jake took to Instagram to share adorable photos of him and his girlfriend with their cat.
“This is our boy, Sashimi…,” he captioned the October 11 carousel. “They grow up so fast.”
Alexia’s mom, Kyle Richards, was clearly moved by the photos, as she hit up the comments to write, “Awww” followed by a couple of heart emojis.
The RHOBH cast member spoke about her daughter’s relationship during a June 4 Amazon Live stream, revealing Alexia and Jake had been friends “since second grade.” And although she shut down rumors that Jake had popped the question, Kyle was confident wedding bells were in the couple’s future.
“She’s not [getting engaged] yet but I do think that’s going to happen. I really do,” she said. “They’ve been dating for four years, almost five years now. They are a very, very, very cute couple and they’re great together. And we just love him so much.”
