Why Tamra Judge Says John Janssen Should "Take Notes" from Eddie
RHOC's Tamra Judge had some advice for Alexis Bellino's fiancé.
Tamra Judge has some advice for John Janssen after watching The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18: Take after her husband, Eddie Judge.
"As a man on any Housewives show, when you are trying to get your point across and [filming] confessionals, it never lands right," Tamra told Page Six in October 2024 about what she's seen from John as he's sat alongside now-fiancé Alexis Bellino in interviews on the show.
"My advice to any man is just be quiet," she continued to the outlet, advising John to take a page out of Eddie's book. "Take notes from Eddie. He does not want to get involved, he wants to diffuse the situation, walk out."
Are Tamra Judge and Alexis Bellino friends?
As longtime fans of RHOC remember, Tamra and Alexis did not get along when they first appeared on the show together back in Season 5. However, when Alexis returned to the show in a friend role for Season 18, she was on great terms with Tamra.
Tamra has since revealed that the two reconnected at BravoCon 2023. "We had a very deep conversation about the past and where she is today, and regrets and things like that and we became very close," Tamra explained about their friendship reunion during a chat with The Hollywood Reporter in July 2024.
Alexis also discussed her new connection with Tamra on the Season 18 premiere.
"Have we had our downside? Yes. Have we sh-t on each other? Yes," the mom of three said in an interview on the episode. "But I'm so thankful for our friendship now."
On July 12, a day after Season 18 premiered, Tamra defended Alexis on Instagram.
"Everybody is so quick to judge Alexis, it's sad," Tamra wrote in an Instagram Story. "But, as the season goes on, I think you'll see what I see. She has a huge heart, and she doesn't have a mean bone in her body."
Tamra and Alexis have maintained their friendship in the year since they first reconnected. The former CUT Fitness owner told Page Six that Alexis is "sweet, kind and good" to her.
Alexis and Tamra may be close, but the mom of four did recognize that the most tense part of the Season 18 reunion was when the friend of the ladies was on stage.
"That was the most explosive part of the reunion," Tamra told PEOPLE about the October 6 reunion taping. "There [were] a lot of tough discussions that went down. There [were] a lot of emotions, there was a lot of explanation to why maybe I felt a certain way, and overall, I felt like it was one of the best reunions that I've done in a very long time
